The mud is actually the tourist attraction. People bathe in it and do all sorts of activities while covered in it because it does wonders for the skin. Korean scientists say that the mud in Boryeong contain certain minerals that are actually good for the skin.
The Boryeong Festival is something I look forward to every July. It is held in Daecheon Beach which turns into a busy tourist spot. I come for the mud which the city of Boryeong is known for. I am just one of many tourists that flock to the festival every year.
