There is a reason why in Boryeong the event is called “Mud Festival.” The celebrated mud of the Daecheon beach has created one of the most wonderful events in Korea.
Koreans and foreigners alike look forward to the festival every year. As more and more people come, the festival has turned into an event that should not be missed.
Though only a few years old, the festival has easily become a favorite because playing in mud was never before done on such a massive, celebrated scale.
Playing in mud may seem preposterous to some people but if done in the company of friends and other people willing to have fun, the Mud Festival can be a most memorable experience.
